Erica Santana is a lower elementary teacher at Montessori Country Day School in Plainsboro, NJ. Previously, she has worked at Hudson Montessori, Apple Montessori, and Hamilton Park Montessori schools. She holds a BA in Communication, a M.A.T. in Elementary Education K-6 from Montclair State University, and a Lower Elementary Certification from Princeton Center for Teacher Education (PCTE). She has presented at NJMAC and IMC conferences. Erica has been a teacher trainer at PCTE for biology and WSMS-TEP. She writes curriculum for ETC Montessori. The five language curriculums that she has designed are: poetry (lower and upper), word study (upper), and traditional literature (lower and upper). She is a contributing writer for MontessoriViews, a digital Montessori magazine.
She loves inspiring students and teachers and guiding them while they find their cosmic place in the Universe! She is a unique storyteller who loves to dress up (especially as the Universe). She enjoys hiking, planting, writing, biking, playing with her dog.
My name is Mary Anthony and teaching young friends is my passion . I have a Bachelor’s degree from Bombay University and also an Early childhood teacher certification from India .I have had the privilege of teaching in India as a Pre-Primary Lead Teacher. In addition I have an American Montessori Society certification from the state of New Jersey. My hobbies include listening to music, playing badminton and I also enjoy classical dancing. I’am a full time teacher and a part-time mom to a 23 year old son and a 18 year old daughter.
