Students achieve academic proficiency and learn to apply their skills to real life situations. We ensure students are prepared for middle school and beyond by grounding them in the core academics, and helping them learn leadership, teamwork and the ability to effectively communicate.
Our Montessori classes continue to bring children of different age levels together, allowing them to progress at their own pace. Students explore mathematics, science and technology, mythology, literature, history, geography, civics, economics, anthropology and the basic organization of human societies. Their studies cover pre-algebra, measurement, geometry, spelling lessons, vocabulary, grammar, sentence analysis, creative and expository writing and research skills. Elementary materials and experiences build each student’s ability to arrange, classify, analyze, synthesize and evaluate information.
Our well-rounded curriculum also includes specialty classes, such as technology, art, Spanish, music and physical education. In addition, students work on public service projects, participate in advanced enrichment programs, and hold positions on various committees that support the direction of our school programs and events. Students graduate as caring and confident achievers, well prepared for continued growth in the classroom and beyond.
