Thank you all for helping our school celebrate Earth Day last month. Together students at our school how Reuse, Reduce and Recycle can help the community, the environment and in saving resources. The children also learned about ladybugs and how they help us get rid of crop-damaging aphids, mealybugs and other destructive insect pests. These topics provides our children to relate science, math and literacy concepts to everyday life. To culminate the celebration, we release 7,500 ladybugs throughout the school’s field and woods.

We were very grateful to News 12 New Jersey for the coverage of our celebration..  The coverage was aired on April 22 and is featured online, which you can check out here: http://newjersey.news12.com/clip/14807568/education-matters-students-celebrate-earth-day-by-releasing-7500-ladybugs.

The school year is almost over and we are ready for summer camp!  We have lined up fun activities such as field trips and other in-house events. Please drop by the office for summer camp calendar and registration form.

We can’t wait to spend summer with you and your children and hope you’ll join us at the family activities we have planned this month!
