March News

March definitely came in like a lion with snow, cold weather and soggy weather.  Hopefully it will go out like a lamb and our days will be filled with sunshine, warmth and blossoms!

Our students have been so busy!  Classrooms have been focused on animal classification which was followed up by a visit from the Lizard Guys!  What a wonderful hands on opportunity for our students to see, touch and learn more about reptiles!  The giant tortoise and 7 ft. boa constrictor were probably the highlights of the visit, but our students were also introduced to smaller snakes, bearded dragons and lizards.

Dental awareness month had us busy learning all about dental hygiene while participating in many activities to support positive dental health.  From learning to brush properly to identifying the parts of the tooth, our students had many opportunities to create dental inspired work and art.

We hosted our second STEM night courtesy of JrSTEM and what a great night!  Participants and their families learned more about chemical compounds, robotics and feats of engineering.  We look forward to hosting JrSTEM as an extracurricular vendor for the 2019-2020 school year!

Speaking of 2019-2020, we will be opening early bird registration on Monday, March 11!  Early bird registration will run until March 22.  During early bird registration, families who enroll between March 11 and March 22 will receive a $50 credit on their September tuition.  Spaces will fill quickly so if you are planning to enroll, don’t wait!  Call Monday to schedule your registration appointment.  We look forward to celebrating our 25th anniversary with you!
