Summer has just begun, but here at Children’s House we are celebrating our third week of camp! In just three weeks, our campers have participated in STEM experiments along with classroom lessons in math and language. We even practiced our bicycling skills during Bike Week! The concentration and motor coordination necessary for riding a bike are not easily attained and can often take many attempts to perfect. Many of our campers were channeling their inner Lance Armstrong as they took to the parking lot in their very own Tour de France!
This week, fireworks and Independence Day are the theme as we paint and create artistic firework displays in paint and glitter. Water play is always a joy and watching our little ones play together and socialize so beautifully makes our hearts happy! Summer camp is a wonderful time for transitioning into new programs but also a time for building skills needed for becoming strong students.
We are looking forward to the 2017-18 school year and our teachers have been busy preparing lessons and planning events. We look forward to getting to know our new friends during Back to School, our annual Halloween parade in October and our Reason for the Season philanthropy activity in November. December brings our annual sock exchange and as we move into the New Year we have so much more on the horizon including our Super Dad’s Super Bowl event which will help us kick off 2018 while our annual Mother’s Day event will help us bring the 2017-18 school year to a close. If you haven’t already enrolled, contact us now to finalize your registration as we only have a few spaces left. 69-443-8900
We look forward to welcoming your family into ours!
