Since 1994, Montessori Corner schools have been providing quality preschool, elementary school, after school and summer camp programs for families living in the greater Princeton area. The Montessori Corner group of schools consists of Children’s House in West Windsor and Princeton Meadows and Montessori Country Day in Plainsboro.
Our program closely follows the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, who held that school should be an extension of the home in preparing students to become responsible members of society. Children receive individualized and group instruction in an atmosphere of cooperation and non-competitiveness. In our elementary grades, students explore the realms of mathematics, science, technology, literature, history, economics, anthropology and the basic organization of human societies. Our well-rounded curriculum includes art, Spanish, music and physical education.
Montessori Corner is proud to be accredited by American Montessori Society and Middle States Association of Colleges & Schools Commission on Elementary & Secondary Schools.
